It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin A. Quackenbush of Schenectady, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazlett Quackenbush and Margaret Quackenbush; and his brothers, Lawrence "Buddy" Quackenbush (Chuck H.) and Daniel P. Quackenbush. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Quackenbush; his sons, Martin E. Quackenbush, Sean Quackenbush and Stephen Quackenbush (Kerri); his grandchildren, Skylar and Marten Quackenbush; and his siblings, Roberta Trench (late Walter), Robert Quackenbush, Patricia Quackenbush (Paula L.), Katherine Quackenbush Blair (Michael) and William Quackenbush (Melissa S.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
