He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Yost and Rose Yost; and his former wife Monica. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Stitt (Ken); his children, Megan Yost (Evan Smith), Daryl Yost (Katy Hummer) and Hillary Wendell (Sean); his grandsons, Jarod Yost (Sydney Clark) and Aaron Smith-Yost; his niece Renee Anderson (Ken); his cousin Mary Louise Hendricksen; Elisha Agrelo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Church (1336 1st Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Chris's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
