With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Leitch (Schenectady, New York), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Crenshaw and Mary Crenshaw; her stepmother Lucy Moore Crenshaw; her brother Stuart Lee Crenshaw; and her in-laws, William Sr. and Susan Leitch.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Sue Pettit (Henry) of Burnt Hills and William P. "Bill" Leitch III (Amy) of St; her granddaughters, Jessica Pettit-Tarquinio (Nico) and Meghan Pettit (Brian Peters); her great grandchildren, Ronan, Orson, Madigan, Leonardo Tarquinio, Declan and Lucy Pettit; and her friend Mary Jane Beaulieu. She is also survived by her four sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Liz's name to St. Kateri Catholic Church.
