It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Almy of Schenectady, New York, born in Smithtown, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Carl Barefoot; and his stepfather Willard Almy, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Linda Almy (Furstman) of Cobleskill; his siblings, Jeff Almy (Karen) of Middleburgh, Terri Hallenbeck (Bret) of Toland, CT, Keith Almy (Shannon) of Sharon Springs, Tammy Kane of Cobleskill and Christopher Almy (Gina) of Colonie; his uncle James Furstman (Agnes) of Carlisle; his nephews, Josh Lindsay (Nicole) of Cobleskill and Liam Kane of Cobleskill; his great-niece Sophia Lindsay; and his great-nephew Landon Turo.
