He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Eva J. DeMania; his grandparents, Edward M. DeMania and Muriel E. McHugh; and his uncles, Timothy K. McHugh and Thomas K. McHugh.
He is survived by: his parents, Lisa McHugh and William McHugh; his brother Patrick (Connelly Holmes) of Albany; his grandparents, William E. McHugh of Raleigh, NC and Barbara J. DeMania; and his uncles, Michael E. DeMania of Irvine, CA and Terrence K. McHugh of Troy, MI..
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks for donations to be made in Nolan's name to Mohawk Opportunities of Schenectady, whose staff worked tirelessly with Nolan and our family. Donations may also be made in his name to and the Schenectady Chapter of the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI).
