She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Garrison and Grace Garrison; her husband Robert L Carson; and her siblings, Peter Garrison, Jean Higgins, Leah Munro, Betty DeLong, Anna MacLean, Ruth Guthrie, Grace Langille and Lillian Blades.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Mushroe (Michael) of Spring Lake, Eric (Kathleen) of Saratoga Springs and David (Diane) of Mahopac, NY; her grandchildren, Kathleen O'Brien (Daniel), Robert Mushroe (Adam), Thomas Mushroe, Jenna Hiltz (Alan), Michael Carson (Melissa), Brian Carson (Sheila) and Chelsea Carson; her great grandchildren, Liam, Lily O'Brien, Hailey, Conor Hiltz, Tyler and Emilia Carson; and her brother Michael Garrison of Tucson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
