Peter J. Northup Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter J. Northup (Schenectady, New York), who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Northup and Mary Masterson Rochira. He is survived by: his wife Lori Cilberti; his sons, Peter Northup II (Jody Brust), Edward Louis Northup (Alysha Karl) and Gilbert Stewart Northup (Zakiyah Hasan-Northup); his grandchildren, Mazhé Northup, Sophia Northup, Charlotte Northup, Finnigan Northup, Maddox Northup, Gabriella Northup and Leonardo Northup; and his siblings, Michael Northup and Mary Dikervitz (Richard).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mary's Institute, 10 Kopernik Blvd. Amsterdam, NY 12010.
