She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Getter and Laura Getter (Kilmer Rickard); her niece Deborah Getter; her siblings, Bernice Roberts (Paul) and Gerald Getter (Harry); her grandson Jason Jeffrey Cernik; and her great grandchildren, Rylee, Maggie Smith, Harper, Henry Dingman, Dean, Bram, Nell Casey, Madigan and Kinsley Ringel.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Smith (Keith), David Linden-Darrow (Robin) and Darlene Cernik (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Tara), Talitha Linden-Darrow, Jennifer Dingman (Joshua), Hannah Casey (Charles), Karly Ringel (Seth) and Laura Cernik.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Glenville Community Church (335 Saratoga Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
