She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Civitello and Helen Civitello (Parravani); her sister Carolyn Neidel; her brothers-in-law, Charles Neidel and Peter Mackay; her daughter-in-law Marie Miele (Funk); her grandson Nico; and her pets, Snoopy, Eddie and Miles.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Peter Miele Jr.; her children, Marc Miele (Tracy), Michele Miele and Nicole Miele (Mayleen Medina); her grandchildren, Eric Miele (Melinda), Meghan Miele, Josef Miele, Michael, Daniel, Noah and Deyanara; her great grandchildren, Rosealee, Logan, Kaiden and Devin; and her sister Maryann Mackay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville or the City Mission of Schenectady.
