He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gentile and Pat Gentile; his wife Patty; his daughter Richelle; and his sisters, Karen and Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie, Denise Gentile and Richard W. Gentile III (Lesley); his stepsons, Gene Ballmes Jr. (Kathy) and David Ballmes (Holly); his son-in-law James Strube; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Renee, John Jr., Kyle and Gannon. He is also survived by Several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
