Reid; his family, Bob, Carol and Andrea; his wife Carol Castorina Reid; his daughter Andrea Reid Fitzgerald; his son-in-law Shane Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Colin Fitzgerald and Emme Fitzgerald; his brother William Reid (Virginia); his brother-in-law Edward Castorina (Gretchen); Marguerite Bethune. He is also survived by his nieces, nephew, extended family members, kind neighbors and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the University at Albany Foundation in support of UAlbany Athletics or the Massry School of Business.
