It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Trafton of Schenectady, New York, born in Cobleskill, New York, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, Robert E. Trafton (Brenda) and Sandra LaVallee; his siblings, Thomas LaVallee (Laurie) and Amy McKelvey (Chris); his stepfather Thomas LaVallee; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Posluszny, Connor McKelvey and Alexis LaVallee; his uncles, Ray Hollenbeck (Nancy) and Harry Zieber; his pet Buddy; and his close friend Brett Cox (Saskia).

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery 611 Duanesburg Road Rotterdam. in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Animal Protective Foundation 53 Maple Avenue Schenectady, NY 12302.
