He is survived by: his wife AnneMarie Johnston (Tessitore); his children, Brianna Ward (James), Rodney Rhea Johnston Jr., Gary Johnston (Leah) and Anthony Johnston; his grandsons, James, Bryant and Zavry Ward; his siblings, Otis, Gary and Beverly; and his former spouses, Janet Johnston and Additionally.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Adalbert Church (550 Lansing St, Schenectady, NY 12303).
