She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griffen and Amelia Brewer Griffen; and her siblings, Willam Griffen, Joseph Griffen, Chauncy Griffen, Gene Griffen, Florence Griffen and Holly Schermerhorn.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Schellenger; her siblings, Seth, Ed, Dennis, Mary Canavan and Anne Cole-Ferrara; and her children, James Schellenger (Jeong) of Maryland, Larry Schellenger (Vickie) of Rotterdam, John Schellenger of Schenectady, Donna Hill of Hudson, Carl Schellenger of Rotterdam, Bill (Cara), Zarnowski (Schellenger) of Massachusetts, Mickey Schellenger (Tracy) of Schenectady and Tina Schellenger of Rotterdam. She is also survived by her many friends and her loving family.
