Rose M. Glibbery Obituary
In loving memory of Rose M. Glibbery (Schenectady, New York), who departed this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Rose leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Cangelosi and Angelina Tocco Cangelosi; her former husband Jay; her son James'Jay'; and her siblings, Mary, Annette, Fay, Tony, Joe, Pat, Josie and Joan.
She is survived by: her husband James E. Glibbery; her children, Teresa Pedinotti (Fred), Alan Glibbery (Diane) and Catherine Rivera (Pete); her grandchildren, Tito, Gregory, Joseph, Freddy, Arianna Rose, Nicholas and Julia; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Rose, Vincent, Samuel, Evelyn, Nadia and James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home (501 Union St, Schenectady, NY 12305). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (331 Seward Pl, Schenectady, NY 12305). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery.
