In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip L. Bergeron and Margaret R. Bergeron (Pilling); and her brother Philip "Don" Bergeron. She is survived by: her close friends, Linda L. Santiago and Barbara Evans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I've known Sherry since college when my dad/grandparents lived across the street; and now (@60) I've been across the street for about 14 years. My family and I will not soon forget her. There was always quite the chatter back and forth across the street on weekends, about my Xmas lights on too long into Spring, her lawn being way too gorgeous compared to the rest of ours, etc. We will miss her smiling and spunky banter/aura greatly.
