The passing of Sue P. Virgilio of Schenectady, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 99. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew D. Virgilio; her parents, Tomasso Pugliese and Angelina Pugliese (Vallone); her siblings, Guy (Rita), Pat (Elaine) and Annabelle Pugliese; and her nephews, Gary and Michael Pugliese.
She is survived by: her children, David (Marianne), Andrea Babich (John), Paul (Leslie) and Anita Wemple (Bill); and her grandchildren, Brian Virgilio, Christina Cotter, Christopher Virgilio, Carla Sansalone, Susanna Virgilio and Drew Wemple. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc. (340 West Ave, Brockport, NY 14420-2011). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (152 Main St, Brockport, NY 14420-2011). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Andrew D. and Sue P. Virgilio Scholarship Fund at The College at Brockport, 350 New Campus Drive, Brockport, NY 14420; to Nativity Church; or to a charity of your choice.
