He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Gifford and Irena Gifford (Blessing); his wife Ingeborg Gifford; his grandson Daniel Gifford; and his siblings, Dorothy Tygert, George, Durrell, Ralph and Robert Gifford.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Gifford of Princetown and Karen Lewandowski (Jeffrey) of Princetown; his sister Margaret Bixby of Middleburgh; his grandchildren, Jenna Pinkney (Austin) and Dalton Lewandowski; and his great grandchild Alina Pinkney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
