He was predeceased by: his parents, Guiseppi Franco and Anna Franco (Piscitelli); his siblings, Orlando, Vince Franco (Lena) and Rose; his brothers-in-law, Frank Rocissano and John Scott; and his sister Gloria Scott of Binghamton.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Franco (DiTrapano); his daughter Lisa Gaffney, Sr. (Timothy) of Rotteram; his grandchildren, Maria Alden (Michael), Teresa Verity (Michael), William Franco, Diana Galluppi (Ryan), Peter Franco, Anthony Franco, Timothy Gaffney, Jr. (Jessica), Katherine Gaffney and LCpl; his great grandchildren, Annalise, Luke, Cecilia, Zack, Nolan, Evelyn and Olivia; his sister-in-law Rose Franco of New Jersey; and his niece Roseanna Rocissano.
Bill was a devout Roman Catholic and who attended St. Luke's Church every week until the pandemic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
