The memory of James L. Rossman of Schenevus, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnet Rossman, and Alice Rossman, Sr. (Wright); his wife Debra V. Stannard; his son Jeremiah J. Rossman; his brother Barnet Victor Rossman Jr.; his niece Arnetta Rossman; his siblings-in-law, Lela Rossman, Kay Rossman, Edward VanSteenburg and Richard Robinson; and his father-in-law Richard Stannard.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila; his son-in-law Raymond Misner of Worcester; his granddaughter Miah Misner of Worcester; and his siblings, Maryanne Robinson, Ruth VanSteenburg, Eugene Rossman, Francis Rossman (Donna), Walter Rossman and Arthur Rossman. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers-and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, 66 Chestnut St., Oneonta, NY 13820.
