He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Gruner and Barbara Gruner (Zeitler); and his siblings, Rudy Gruner and Ann Kodra. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Scofield (Kevin) of Esperance and James Gruner of Esperance; his grandchildren, Megan, Tyler (Mallory), Jillian and Landen; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Emma; and his sisters, Elizabeth Earle of Orlando and Doris Moser of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langan Funeral Home (327 Main St, Schoharie, NY 12157). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
