He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Costello and Ann Costello (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Cathie; his daughters, April Costello (Chris Lawson) and Ashley Costello (Chris Goins); his siblings, Thomas Costello (Nancy), Patrick Costello (Sandy) and Kathleen Costello (Jerry Olson); and his grandchildren, Colton Matthew Lawson, Taylor Rae Lawson and Zariah Jade Goins. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
