He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wemett and Marjorie Wemett; his children, Ronna Nadeau of Glens Falls, Eric Wemett of Fort Ann and Leslie Lydon of Glens Falls; and his son-in-law Richard Hermance.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mary Wemett (Pecor); his children, Jeffrey Wemett (Tanya) of Chestertown, Deanna Trudsoe (Wayne) of Chestertown, Justina Vedder (James) of Florida, Alana, David Clark of Schroon Lake and Holly Hermance of Schroon Lake; and his son-in-law Anthony Lydon of South Carolina. He is also survived by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to either the Schroon Lake Fire Department or Pottersville United Methodist Church.
