Alton left this world on January 8, 2026 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Weeden and Hazel M. Kneer Weeden; and his brother Steven Weeden. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina, Dolores and Kimberly Weeden; his stepson Mike Boomhower; and his sisters, Evelyn E. Grassmann (John W. II), Betty Martin, Carol Baker and Lorraine J. Moritz (Wayne). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
