He is survived by: his grandchildren, Pina, Mira and Enzo; his wife Mary; his children, Cosimo Gitto (Angela), Sally Molitor (Chad) and Mary Boehlke (Bill); and his siblings, Rose Decker, Mica Bennet and Joseph "Peppy" Gitto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
