He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Hamilton and Harriet Wagoner; and his sisters, Claire and Jean. He is survived by: his wife Anita Gilbert; his children, Donald Hamilton (Natasha Smelova), Craig Hamilton (Joyce) and Shirley Hartman (Paul); and his grandchildren, Alice, Robert, Andrew, Matthew, Katie and Tyler. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
