She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leslie MacCubbin and Julia Frances Coleman; her husband John L Cowan of Lansingburgh; her daughter Laurie Conley; her siblings, George Leslie (Theresa), Cecelia (Joe Gavin) and Joan (Joe Caulfield); her siblings-in-law, Marilyn and Bruce Barnes; and her stepgranddaughter Theresa DiCesare.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mildred Cross of Emerald Isle, NC and Ronald MacCubbin; her sons, Stephen (Lucille Marion) of Latham and Matthew (Frannie Agostine) of Troy; her children-in-law, Kathy Cowan of Latham and Kevin Conley (Cindy) of Castleton; her grandchildren, Regan DeMartino (Joe) of Charlton, Erin Cowan (Ed Colihan) of Lithia, FL, Courtney Schrader (Tom) of San Diego, CA, Elizabeth Cowan (Keegan Nally) of Latham, Abby Cowan (Mike Kuzia-Carmel) of Albany, Sarah Renaud (Dan) of Albany, John Cowan (Bridget Burgoyne) of Boston, MA, Zachary Conley (Alissa) of Delmar, Kylie Conley (Tanya Limar) of Selkirk and Ryen Conley (Justin Tatar) of Rensselaer; her stepgranddaughter Nicole Gowan (Maxim) of Ben Lomond, CA.; her sons, Timothy of Cohoes, Kevin of Hilton Head, SC and Michael Woods (Michele) of Latham; and her niece Patty MacCubbin of Burlington, VT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (498 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
