He was predeceased by: his parents, Woollard Smith and Lillian Smith; and his siblings, Charles, Ronald Smith and Virginia Smith.
He is survived by: his brothers, Otis Smith (Shirley) and Willie Smith (Sheila). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gerald Bh Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
