Thomas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Thomas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Joseph and Helen Stanislowsky Smero; and his brother Donald Smero. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Boni; his children, Tracy Lee Wilson (Brett) and Jeffrey T. Smero; his granddaughters, Olivia, Sydney Wilson and Shiloh Smero; his daughter-in-law Roxanne Hack Smero; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Demske; and his nephew Nicholas Demske.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the New Comer Cremations and Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
