He is survived by : his wife Linda Godey Gruet; his sons, Thomas J. Gruet (Katrina) of Johnstown, Paul D. Gruet (Jacqueline) of Goshen, IN, John M. Gruet (Racha) of Cedarville, OH and Jeffrey S. Gruet (Amy) of Gloversville; his sister Shirley Little of Ballston Lake; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Brett), Caleb (Breana), Chase, Devin, Trey (Victoria), Brice, Ethan, Emma, Jocelynn and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Oaklee, Dakota and Bolton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Sacandaga Bible Conference, both in care of the funeral home.
