He was predeceased by: his wife Wrexie Ames; his son James W. Ames; and his granddaughter Courtney Amber Moore. He is survived by: his daughter Betty Harrington (Tom); his grandchildren, Casey Moore (Kaitlyn) and Cassidy Moore (Jared Swift); his great grandchild Augie Lamay; his daughter-in-law Leona Ames; his granddaughter Heather Farrow; and his great grandchildren, Holden Perry and Tyler Farrow.
