Daniel L. Merry Obituary
Daniel L. MERRY, 66, of Scio, NY, died Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
Born May 17, 1960, in Wellsville, he was the son of Alfred and Mary E. Coyle Merry. A graduate of Scio Central School, he worked on the family farm for most of his life.
Surviving are: two daughters, Kaylee Merry and Danielle Merry; three brothers, Alfred 'Rick' (Isabelle) Merry of Rome, Michael (Sophia) Merry and Thomas (Charlene Johnson) Merry, both of Scio; nieces and nephews, Brian, Philip, Brittney, Jessica, and Casey; and close friends, Ron Cady, the McDonalds and Burger King coffee crew, and his neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Merry; a sister, Nancy Merry; a brother-in-law, Darryl Conley; and a nephew, Jeremy Merry.
Friends may call at Immaculate Conception Church, 36 Maple Ave, Wellsville, NY on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Knights Creek Cemetery, Scio.
