Gerald D. Robbins Obituary

Gerald D. ROBBINS, 83, of Scio, NY, died Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Wellsville Manor Care Center, Wellsville.

Born July 23, 1943, in Wellsville, he was the son of Alfred D. and Mildred Louise Cosner Robbins.

He was a graduate of Scio Central School and operated Palmer's Gas Station in Scio, a car mechanic at Felix Motors in Belmont, and retired from A.L. Blades of Hornell.

Surviving are: the mother of his four children, Bonnie Baker Tripp of Roulette, PA; four children, Michael (Fay) Robbins of Coudersport, PA, Michelle (Elwyn) Gordon of Belmont, David (Jennifer) Robbins of Colorado Springs, CO, and Don Robbins of Friendship; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank (Barbara) Robbins, of Scio; a stepbrother, Doug Crawford of Wellsville; a sister-in-law, Marlea Robbins of Scio; nieces and nephew; a friend who was like a son, Kyle (Deanna) Fanton of Scio; and lifetime friends, Sonny and Betty White of Scio.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Garcia; a brother, Authur Robbins; and his favorite dog, Bubba.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Fairlawn Cemetery, Scio.
