He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Cheney and Helene Cheney (Walter); and his son Steven E. Cheney. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Daley (Betty); and his children, William R. Cheney (Brenda), Katherine A. Alley, David A. Cheney (Olga), Susan M. Otto (Eric) and Kenneth V. Cheney. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
