With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick W. Delaney of Scipio Center, New York, who passed away on May 4, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Delaney and Mary Walsh Delaney; his siblings, William Delaney and Vera Rice; and his grandson Dylan Juhl.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Delaney (Gulliver); his children, Marie (Kenneth Juhl), Doreen Vanacore (Joe Melchior), Timothy Delaney (Mary), Kenneth Delaney (Nicole) and Katy Wilson (Jay); his grandchildren, Dalton, Amanda Juhl, Nicole Melie (Charles), Joshua (Victoria), Ryan (Paige), Brandon Vanacore (Kylie), Parker Melchior, Gregory, Jack, Megan Delaney, Frank Walter (Madelyn), Darek Delaney, Aiden Wilson, Grace, Logan and Alivia Delaney; and his great grandchildren, Charles Melie, Tucker, Bryce and Wayde Vanacore.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the American Legion (8 Schobey St, Union Springs, NY 13160).
