He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Naomi; his former wife Kathleen; his brother Frank Brucker; and his stepson Michael Lawson.

He is survived by: his children, Colleen Strack (Craig), Karen Scheffler, Ruth Fazio (late Michael) and Jerry E. Brucker, Jr.; his stepchildren, Larry Lawson (Debbie), Kerry Frank (Steve) and Tom Lawson (Marie); his sister Lois Brennan (late David); and his sister-in-law Ruth Coughlin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
