James Quick Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 72, James Quick of Scotia, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer and Doris; and his sister Sharon Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Quick; his children, Alisa T. Quick of Colebrook, CT, Jaime L. Gilbert (Joshua) of Wallingford, CT and Kristel L. Bowman (Daniel) of Ravena, NY; his grandchildren, Arie Bowman, Ellie, Maren and Silas Gilbert; his brothers, Richard Quick (Deborah) of Hagaman, NY and Spencer Quick; and his pet Maizie. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12302.
