We are sad to announce that, on January 2, 2026, at the age of 79, Richard Carbone of Scotia, New York, born in Niskayuna, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carbone and Mary Carbone (Zebrowski); his brother Charles Carbone of Scotia; and his brother-in-law Frank Julian of Watervliet. He is survived by: his wife Jane Carbone of Day; his children, Shannon James of Glens Falls, John Carbone of Glens Falls and Heather Hanna (Kevin) of Lake Luzerne; his stepsons, Jamie Hayes of Hadley and Donald Hayes (Michelle) of Lake Luzerne; his grandchildren, Ryan Matuszak, Abigail Matuszak, Cameron Hanna, Reigan Hanna, Colby Hanna, Hannah Johnson, Reice Hayes, Connor Hayes and Ethan Hayes; his great grandchildren, Weston, Cooper and Kellen; his sister Lillian Julian of Watervliet; and his sister-in-law Terri Flower of Scotia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
