He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Parkhurst and Gerturde Hyde Parkhurst; his wife Joyce Parkhurst (Hoyt); and his brothers, Robert Parkhurst (Beverly), Kenneth Parkhurst (Beverly) and Edward Parkhurst (Elizabeth).
He is survived by: his children, Jean Puglia of Fulton, Janice Shortsleeve (Jim), Jerry (Pam) and Joy Parkhurst; and his brother Thomas Parkhurst (Elaine) of Oswego. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
