He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Chilipka; his former wife Maureen Kiely; and his stepfather Julius Chilipka. He is survived by: his father Lt. Joseph J. Kiely; his wife Ellie; his sons, Joseph (Janine), Christopher (Lisette) and Stephen (Julia); his stepdaughter Peggy (Leo); his sisters, Susan (Dave) and Linda (Eric); and his grandchildren, Meagan, Nicholas, Bryanna, Dylan, Brody, Brett, Isabella and Quinn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Giove Funeral Home (1000 Middle Country Rd, Selden, NY 11784). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
