“In loving memory of Robert J. Valletta. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Robert was a good friend whom I knew while I worked with him at Newsday. He ALWAYS was very professional and always had a smile or kind word to say when I saw him. I was a part time worker while at Newsday and Robert was the seasoned full time vet. He made my time working at Newsday in the composing dept very enjoyable. I'll miss him and never forget the great friend he was. RIP my friend.”

“Bobby was a friend that I met many years ago when I worked with him at Newsday in the composing dept. He always was a very friendly person and a very genuine and sincere one as well. We lost touch after I left Newsday and only very recently reconnected with him when I reached out to him this past July. Finding out about his illness and passing has broken my heart. My deepest and most sincere apologies to his wife, son and the rest of the family for your loss. He will be missed. RIP my friend.”
