He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Rae Powell (VanAlstyne) and Charlie Ed Powell; and his brother Charles C. Powell Sr. A. He is survived by: his wife Audrey E. Shellard Powell; his daughters, Judith Lambert III (Samuel) and Kristina Powell; his grandsons, Duke Edward Lambert and Beau David-Charles Taylor; and his sister Fanny Weddell (Bob). He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
