She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Doris Wilson (Wilkes); her husband Thomas Dowd; and her siblings, Charles Wilson, Roberta Halden and Helen Holcomb Fincher.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel "Dewey" Dowd (Lynda Sohn) of Seneca Falls, MaryAnne Marr (Stephen) of Seneca Falls, Michael Dowd of Anniston, Alabama and James Dowd (Annika) of Carrick; her grandchildren, Kristin Sandroni (Tim), Steven Grillone, Nicholas Marr, Christopher "Matt" Dowd (Daisy Marie), Brandon Dowd (Stefanie), Corey Dowd (Lisa), David Dowd (Stephanie), Anthony Dowd and Lina Dowd; her great grandchildren, Steven Grillone, Dean, Samara Dowd, Carter, Chloe, Scarlett, Fiona Dowd, Brooklyn, Bexlie and Lincoln Dowd; and her extended family, Bridget Hilimire, Michelle Sohn, Keith Sohn, Lake Cunningham, Cole Sohn, Phynix Sohn and Remy Hilimire. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
