With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria D. (Bemiss) Lahr of Seneca Falls, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bemiss and Guila Bemiss (Ballard); her brother Gary Bemiss (Anita); and her pets, Sebastian and Miss Molly.
She is survived by: her significant other Vincent; her children, Diane Kemp (Steve), Kathleen Donovan (Paul), Carolyn Little (Lenville), Kenneth Lahr (Karen), Cecilia Lahr, Philip Lahr (Mary) and Daniel Lahr (Beth); and her sisters, Anne Lorenz, Aleeta Frye and Dora Lynn Rettig. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Gloria's strong belief that our servicemen and woman should be supported regardless of one's political beliefs, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be directed to a veteran organization of your choice.
