She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Walters and Helen Walters (Murphy); her daughter Jodi Thomas (Charles); and her siblings, Lonnie Walters, John "Jack" Walters and Pat Parish.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Brown of Patrick's Church; her grandchildren, Cherise and Jonathan Adams; her sister Dawn Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Walters, Linda Zona and Frederick "Buster" Brown (Cynthia). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
