He is survived by: his son Stephen DeChick (Nicole); his grandchildren, Daniel Kesel (Brandy), Gabrielle Kesel, Jacob DeChick (Kayla Snyder) and Allyea DeChick (Zach Payne); his great grandchild Alex; and his siblings, George, Bill, Tom DeChick (Debbie), Maria Duell and Barbara Dimock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Doran Funeral Home - Seneca Falls (4 E Bayard St, Seneca Falls, NY 13148). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the St. Columbkille Cemetery (133 E Bayard St, Seneca Falls, NY 13148).
