George F. Kloster Obituary
We announce the death of George F. Kloster of Shady, New York, born in Croghan, New York, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his sons, Ricky F. Kloster and Randy G. Kloster; his siblings, Thomas Kloster, Michael Kloster, Burton Kloster and Delphine Kloster; and his parents, Reuben Kloster and Norah Kuhl Kloster.
He is survived by: his wife Julia; his grandchildren, Josiah T. Kloster of Croghan and Naomi T. Alzate (Benjamin); his siblings, Gilbert Kloster (Susan) of Croghan, Patrick Kloster (Donna) of Croghan, Timothy Kloster of Croghan and Carole Hoch of Croghan; and his aunt Beverly Kloster. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. (5702 Waters Rd, Lowville, NY 13367). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church (9748 Main St, Croghan, NY 13327). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Croghan American Legion (9833 Main St Box 217, Croghan, NY 13327).
