It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brett Keith Freligh of Sherman, New York, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jan Freligh (Sandy) of Sherman, NY and Darlene Peelman Seekings (Monty Sr) of French Creek, NY; his wife Rachel Kochanowski Freligh; his children, Bailey Freligh (Matthew) of Ripley, NY and Dawson Freligh of Sherman, NY; and his siblings, Scott Freligh, Jon Seekings (Jade), Monty Seekings (Courtney), Megan Seekings, Ashley Freligh, Kaitlyn Burroughs (Zack) and Katrina Abrams (Alan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freay Funeral Home (139 S Erie St, Mayville, NY 14757).
