She was predeceased by: her husband Willie; her stepson William Jr.; her father Salvatore; and her stepfather Al. She is survived by: her children, Thomas (Teri) and Michelle (late Glenn); her grandchildren, Ginna, Sky, Winter, Elijah of Akyn, TJ, Maddy and Gabe; her goddaughter Carly (Timmy); her stepchildren, Kerry, Steven and Keith; her mother Carlene; and her siblings, Julianne, Sallyann, Carlene of Donna, JP and Lil Sal. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Virginia's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org).
