He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harmer Shannon; his children, Jim Shannon (Sharon), Mary Shannon Colson (Mike), John Shannon (Linda) and Anne Shannon Jones; his grandchildren, Ryan Shannon (Megan), Mark Shannon (Sandra), Jeffrey Shannon (Danielle), Philip Colson (Kathleen), Christine Colson (Eric), Catherine Colson (Brian), Kavant Colson, Peter Shannon, David Shannon, Michael Shannon, Abigail Jones and Isabel Jones; his great grandchildren, Grant, Caroline, Henry, Charlie, Sophia, Joshua, Rory and Vanessa; his sister Elaine Myers; and his sister-in-law Jean Baker (John). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
